幼い頃の夢はお花屋さん

高校在学中より二十年に渡り数々の生花店勤務経験を経て
新型コロナウイルスの流行を機に、環境問題をより深く考えたのち
夫の故郷である静岡県御殿場市に移住

花屋「Frolic」をオープン
在庫を置かずオーダー毎に仕入れ、また畑から採取した花を
使用すること、ロスゼロを基本の理念とし
ヒアリングをはじめとした、コミュニケーションを重視し
デザイン、仕入れ、制作、配達など全ての工程をオーダーメイドで
行うギフト制作をメインに、ワークショップや伝統行事に合わせた
花の販売会を開催している

経歴

1985年　東京都西東京市に生まれる
地元のガーデニングショップ勤務経験を経て
日本フラワーデザイン専門学校に入学
卒業後、フローリスト専門の派遣事務所に所属し
数々の都内生花店で勤務

2007年　ゴトウ花店（東京都港区）に入社
帝国ホテル東京店にてウエディングや
レセプションパーティーの装花を担当

2013年　有）内田生花店（東京都北区）に入社
店長として店舗の運営をしながら、レッスンの企画や講師、
企業との商品開発やネット販売の企画業務を担当

2020年初め、新型コロナウイルスにより起きた
緊急事態宣言を期に環境問題や働き方を考え直し
退職を決意。同年8月に夫の故郷である御殿場市に移住

2020年　12月、Frolicをオープン
「戯れる」「陽気な集まり」といった意味を持つ
フローリックの名の元に、カレーやお酒を楽しむイベントの
開催など、既存の花屋の常識にとらわれない
新しい花屋の形を提案しています。

My childhood dream was to become a florist.

I have been interested in floristry since I was a highschool student
and have since gained twenty years of experience working at various florists.
The onset of the coronavirus and the impact it had caused me to reflect
on my life and on the world around me. I began to think more about our world
and on the many environmental issues, and so my family and I made the decision to
move to the rural town of Gotemba in Shizuoka, my husband’s hometown.

’Frolic’

My core philosophy is to pursue sustainable floristry, this includes efforts to
reduce waste, responsibly, consume energy and to use recycled materials
whenever possible.
Flowers are hand harvested and grown on the ‘Frolic’ farm or sourced from local growers.
I truly believe in the importance of communication and in understanding
the specific needs of our clients.
We offer a great variety of designs and styles such as arrangements for
special occasions as well as flowers for simple everyday luxury.
All steps of the process from design to delivery are customised to fit the clients needs.
We also offer a variety of workshops to find custom solutions for clients
who require floral arrangements for everything from corporate events to
traditional celebrations.
